    We streamline the import/export process:

At Cisco, we have the necessary Electronic Data Interface ( EDI ) processes to automatically integrate our customers' invoices into our systems, either through Advance Shipping Notice ( ASN ) or native PDF (Portable Document Format)

The customer has different options to electronically send us the files, either via email or SFTP. To interpret the information in the incoming file, we require the customer to provide us with the data dictionary of the file.

Generally, the ASN contains information such as the invoice, tariff codes, and the container or trailer in which the goods will be transported. This process significantly speeds up the import and export of goods as all the necessary information is available.

If the customer only has the invoice in PDF format, Cisco also has an OCR process to automatically capture the invoice information, aiming to expedite the import/export process and ensure accurate capture of the invoice.

At Cisco, we carry out hundreds of daily operations in which we are already using these two processes.
